| I've
still got my mind on Colorado. For me, getting out into nature
is a spiritual retreat. I've never felt as connected to God in

August 7th ~ Operations and Healing
| My
75 year old mother underwent a hip replacement on July 22nd.
Since then, that leg has dislocated three times. Tomorrow she
will undergo a second surgery to adjust the fit of her new socket.
If you see fit, please send some healing energy her way or a
prayer to help the surgeon get it right this time. |

| I put an awful
lot of effort into my work, my blogs, my web sites. Often, I
wonder what I do it for. It certainly isn't the recognition!
I rarely hear from anyone about anything I paint or post. Out
of all my members, only about 7% ever comment or email me. It's
always the same people who respond and I'm very thankful for

August 21st ~ Subscription / Change
| I've been religiously
sending this Spirit Art Letter out twice a week for over two
and a half years. Not a day's been missed or beat's been skipped.
I'm proud of the accomplishment. I have gotten a lot out of it
and have made some great friends along the way. My last post
on "Effort" really got my small minority of
fans rallying. I thank you regular 7% so much for that! The other
side of the coin is that I got comments that it is just too much
with my daily drawings during the summer and inspiration everyday
quote. Some of you are getting overwhelmed with emails and mine
just become an annoyance. On my three year anniversary in December,

| The internet offers
us an incredibly intimate mode of communication. Some like it
and use it and some just don't. It amazes me the number of people
who never send a personal email. The only time I hear from certain
folks is when they're forwarding me information that they deem
as important or entertaining. Don't get me wrong, I really like
some of it. My appreciation for the personal ones usually far
outweigh the "fwd:'s" though. |
